Back zip vs chest zip Wetsuit - Tried & Tested...

The saga continues, I have a Patagonia R1 chest zip Wetsuit which is my first chest zip, it's super warm and never lets water down my back. The reason I went for it was my older wetsuit with a back zip, which never had a baffle, constantly let water down my back.

However, check out the new Patagonia R4 Yulex and Vissla Seven Seas 3-2 Full Back zip wetsuits for convenience and easy access, now with the baffle which means, no cold water ingress :)

The Patagonia R4 Yulex is suggested water temperatures: 48–55° F/9–13° C.

A high-performance, neoprene-free wetsuit made of 85% Yulex™ natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber by polymer content; the natural rubber is derived from sources that are Forest Stewardship Council® certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Suggested water temperatures. View Wetsuit Here...
